Zulu 30th Anniversary Lundi Gras Festival: The Good Times Roll on the River

New Orleans always celebrates the start of the week with red beans & rice but, on the day before Mardi Gras, we take Mondays to a whole new level. Head down to Woldenberg Park on Monday, February 12^th from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and see what we mean. The festival will feature entertainment on three stages by local, world-famous and Grammy award-winning entertainers.

The event culminates with a Carnival tradition: the meeting of Mardi Gras royalty, Rex and Zulu. Mayor LaToya Cantrell will take the stage to hand over the keys of the city and let the merriment begin. The ceremony is then followed by Monday night parades.
