The Parades Are Still Rolling in New Orleans: March Events

March 4 2026

Miss Mardi Gras? Awwwwww. Lucky for you, parades will be rolling in the Big Easy for St. Patrick’s Day and St. Joseph’s Day, and you'll get another chance to see Mardi Gras Indians doing their thing on Super Sunday.

Unlike Mardi Gras parades, St. Patrick’s Day parade throws include the ingredients to make an Irish stew–cabbages, carrots, onions, potatoes…you get it. You’ll get your share of beads, too. Get your green on and check out the parades and block parties listed on stpatricksdayneworleans.com.

Super Sunday in New Orleans falls on Sunday, March 15th this year. Come admire the Mardi Gras Indians in their handsewn suits.

At St. Joseph’s Day parades, along with beads you’ll get your share of carnations in the colors of the Italian flag. You’ll also find these parades and routes on stpatricksdayneworleans.com.

This is also the time of year to drop by Catholic churches and places like Rouse’s Market and the Beauregard Keyes House to visit their St. Joseph’s Day altars.
