Only in New Orleans could fighting breast cancer involve chocolate, champagne, live jazz and a mansion on Canal Street.

On Saturday, October 3, Krewe de Pink presents its seventh annual Death by Chocolate…NOT Breast Cancer, benefiting breast cancer research at Tulane Cancer Center. The 21-and-over event takes place from 6:30–9 p.m. at the Schoen Mansion, with VIP admission beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Local restaurants and culinary organizations including Mardi Gras School of Cooking, Messina’s, Caluda’s, Cafe Hope, Katie’s and NOCHI will serve sweet and savory chocolate creations, with guests voting for their favorites.

The evening also includes champagne, live jazz, a photo station, silent auction and raffle prizes. Krewe de Pink will also honor its 2026 Sweet Survivors: Kelly Rovetto, Jill Fourcade, Jerry Parker, Jasman Green and Aaiyanna Johnson.

Tickets: General admission is $60 in advance and $75 at the door. VIP tickets are $100 in advance and $120 at the door.
