Get yourself over that bridge! The Algiers Mardi Gras Festival will take place on Saturday, February 12 at Federal City from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Acccording to the Festival, this family-friendly event's goal is to bring Mardi Gras to the historic Algiers neighborhood, just across the Mississippi River from downtown NOLA. Founded in 2020, the festival is returning after a one-year Covid-induced absence.
So what about the food? The Gumbo Man, King of the Kitchen and Off da Hook Catering will be there cooking up the storm. The entertainment lineup includes Kermit Ruffins, Brass-a-Holics and the New Orleans Nightcrawlers. Check out the festival’s official website as they add more acts to the list.
