Krewe of Morpheus
Date: Friday, Feb 28, 2014 | Location: Uptown | Time: 7:00pm
Established in 2000, the Krewe of Morpheus is named for the Greek god of dreams.
The krewe strives to be inclusive in membership, and is formed by more than 500 male and female riders. This krewe seeks to give paradegoers an 'old-school' parade experience.
In 2013, the Krewe is adding a “Sleep Walkers,” a walking contingent of their parade to set the tone for the entire parade and bring parade goers into their dream world.
Please note that tickets are available for grandstand seating on St. Charles Avenue, but tickets are not required to see the parade. If you arrive early enough, you can claim a spot on the route with a blanket and some chairs.
