Krewe of Alla

Founded in 1932, the all-male Krewe of Alla is one of the largest krewes in the Westbank, and features a strong equestrian showing, a plethora of marching bands and drill units from the metropolitan area and from across the state. The Krewe's name is an abbreviation of ALgiers, LA., and is formed by more than 450 male riders. Alla celebrates it 75th year in 2007.
