Lundi Gras Celebration with Zulu

2011 Lundi Gras is Zulu's 19th celebration of the start of the Greatest Free Show on Earth. Zulu's President, Board of Directors, 2011 Zulu Characters and members will join to Hail our Mardi Gras royalty on Monday March 7, 2011 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm in Woldenberg Park on the banks of the Mighty Mississippi River. Zulu and guests will be honored to be present for the fly over of the newest addition to the US Marines aerial fleet the MV-22 Osprey to commemorate the arrival of King and Queen Zulu.

The Lundi Gras Festival includes a huge line up of talent which will provide nonstop music throughout the day, featuring great performers like: Rockin Doopsie, Charmaine Neville, Jeff Floyd, Big Al Carson, Bobby J and Stuff Like That, Bucktown Allstars, Ed Perkins, Kris Baptiste, Walter Waiters, Bruce SunPie and the Louisiana Sunspots, Kourntey Hart, Benny Turner Band, Heat Index, Zulu Ensemble with Joe Cool Davis, Three Kings, Herbert McCarver Pin Stripe Brass Band, Free Agent Brass Band, Rebirth Brass Band, and the Sophie B. Wright High School Band.
