Flew into town Sun. am so we could be there when the Saints won the Superbowl! Took my 24 yr old son and his friend for their first visit to town. Have pictures after the Saints won of the absolute joy on the faces of all there. What an amazing experience! To say that this was fun wouldn't truly express what this encompassed...a unity of all for the WHO DAT NATION! The Inn on Bourbon is our favorite place to stay. Wonderful front desk mgr. Troy is just the best. Gotta group? - call Jamie in group sales. And don't let Big Daddy at Crazy Corner scare ya - he's got a heart as big as N'Awlins. Didn't get to go this trip but the Oceana off Bourbon served us the best meal we've ever had in our entire life on our last visit. (these are truly personal endorsements) This isn't a plug for anyone. We are a young boomer couple from IL that love New Orleans. The people there will welcome you with open arms. You can help them get their neighborhoods back by just coming down and enjoying it all. Have been there for St. Patty's Day & Easter. Saw families and parades so don't be afraid to visit this wonderful city!
